Title: PowerPak and Famicom Post by dhau on 20. Nov 2007 at 15:19
Hi guys,
I got PowerPak rev.E, and it works fine on US toaster NES, but it doesn't work on either Famicom AV or Sharp TwinFami. I use good quality NES-to-Famicom converter. All my american NES games work great on both Famicom systems. So, is it something that might get fixed at some point in future, or is it something that require hardware modification? |

Somehow I doubt that it'll happen... why not just use a NES? :-)

Well, toaster NES is pretty unreliable and ugly, and toploader is RF-only without the mod. My Famicom AV was made in 2003 and works really well with all American games, but not the PowerPak. I hope that against all odds I'll yet see PowerPak working on Famicoms :) |

Did you get a powerpack with the updated resistors? I've talked to people who've had no problems with them on the famicom but I haven't tried it myself.
Good quality nes to famicom adaptors? Isn't that an oxymoron? |
