Hey all,

Does anyone know what's up with/how to get in touch with bunnyboy? He's the guy that runs retrousb.com (Retrozone). Sent him my DoA PowerPak almost 2 mos. ago and I have yet to receieve any communication from him. Both emails of his I had don't work anymore. There are also no contact methods listed on his site.

This is pretty bad customer service, and needless to say, I'm not happy. I've tried contacting him through various forums with no success.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Have you tried: retrozone@retousb.com? I only ask because you said he doesn't have any contact methods provided. It's on the FAQ, but easy to miss.

I've had the same issue, as have quite a few others it seems.  His communication is very poor.  I finally got in contact with him after a couple months by bumping a "Paging Bunnyboy" thread over on the NintendoAge forums, but even then he stopped replying again after the first e-mail.  I didn't get his full attention until I posted in a thread in which he was actively posting on those forums.  If you want to get his attention, you could register at the NintendoAge forums and start a "private topic" (at the boards on the very bottom there) for you and bunnyboy.  It automatically sends an e-mail to the other person when the thread is started + whenever someone posts in it.  As a last resort, you could check with PayPal, as he has mentioned before that he has a phone number listed there (I have no idea how to check that, though).  Good luck!

He is very hard to reach indeed, i had probs also a while back. Took me 4 months to get my money back.

Check over at nintendoage.com (also a good incentive to sign up). He's around there a bit.

I've tried getting in touch with him through nesdev and a few other forums; when he finally did respond, he did so through e-mail (not the forums) and told me he doesn't communicate about his products via forums/etc. (this was because I mentioned in my email that I had tried sending him PMs... he claims he never saw the PMs I sent him)

This is absolutely unacceptable. He shouldn't be running a business if he can't handle simple things like communication.

How is he about shipping items? I placed an order the other day, is he efficient about that? Because he has a lot of good products I'd like to buy and would hope to purchase more, soon.

He ships pretty fast.  He always uses priority and uses a box as well.  I think he just doesn't do so well shipping overseas.  I haven't heard many if any complaints from people within the US.

I live in the US. Literally less than 30 mins from him.

No contact and no product for over 2 mos is unacceptable.

His email seems to be working again so maybe he'll reply sometime...

I too am having some problems with him. I bought a controller from his website several months ago - I paid via Paypal but haven't received anything yet. I managed to get a response from him the first time I contacted him but haven't heard anything from him since.  :(

I guess I'm too lazy to do anything about it now...  :P

You might be more lucky on Nintenage, try there it's the best way.

Keep trying his email is your best bet.  I know Dain is getting sick of NA being Bunnyboy customer support forum lately so it might get deleted.  I know bunnyboy email service rejects all hotmail accounts and a few others cause they are so full of spam.  I know gmail works for him so try getting a gmail account.

yeah, I bumped the paging bunnyboy thread on NA and it got deleted.

My email isnt blocked from him (I don't use freemail) and I've talked to him before from this email -- its how I was able to send my DoA PowerPak back for Warranty.

Still waiting on a response from him... seriously, if he thinks he can run a busines this way, he's out of his mind. He's needs to get his act together or get someone else to run the customer service aspect of the business for him, since he seems so reluctant/"busy" to provide even a minnimum amount of service to paying customers.

FINALLY, some contact today. He just refunded me my money, saying that I never answered his questions regarding the issue I was having with the PowerPak (it was DoA).

I had already explained it in all the emails I sent, as well as the letter I included with the PowerPak when I sent it back.. but, ok. Nevermind that his e-mail didn't work for several weeks... and the fact that I received zero communication from him for nearly two months.

Yeah. Terrible customer service. Spam filters are no excuse... get a g-mail account or something. How hard is it to check your e-mail once a day? Once a week?

Needless to say I cannot and will not recommend him to anyone, despite how awesome his products are (my NWC repro works fine).
