Hi,

Sorry if this has been run into the ground a lot. But what's the story with this game? The site is blank, is it on hiatus? It is cancelled? Again, sorry if this has been mentioned too much, I couldn't find a thread on it.

Who knows.  I talked to him a few months back and he said he was going to start working on it again.  Then he site goes down again. I doubt it will ever get finished.

As far as I know he took down the site to stop the hype. The author got a job in the game business and the development of GrandTheftendo was put on hold for a long time (another reason to remove the site).

Development is back on track but there's no release date set, if it ever happens, which is why the website isn't put back online.

Unfortunately Grandtheftendo uses a custom mapper so chances of seeing it released on a NES cartridge is just about none.

The site was down for about a year, then he put it back up a few months ago Martin.  Now it is down again.  Wish he would make up his mind :P

Depends on the mapper.  If its a discrete logic mapper (Like UNROM) it would be doable.  If its crazy (like MMC3 or whatever) it would require more skills than I'll ever have.


If its MMC1-like and can be done on the power pak (which is out of my league),  it "might" be possible for bunnyboy to make donor carts that can handle it.
