Title: BASIC NES?
Post by ludditesoft on 04. Jan 2008 at 17:01
Can you write in BASIC for the NES? It probably won't produce anything too sophisticated, but is it possible? Is it easier if you've never learned a programming language before? I'm writing a game for the Atari 2600 right now and it would be great if I could make something on the NES in BASIC.

Ok so I think, I may have found what I was looking for:
http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=development/cross/nes_dev.lha

As I understand the description, it says I can write a NES game in BASIC and have it converted to Assembler. I know nothing of Assembler and just began BASIC, I wouldn't know if this makes sense.
