seeing my "popular games that you don't like" thread, it got me thinking about this.  What are some games that a lot of people dislike/hate, but you actually enjoyed it or at least had fun with?

One game that comes to my mind right away is Power Punch II.  As most of you know this was suppose to be the follow-up to Punch-out, but things fell through with Tyson and all so, and so we have a Tyson look-a-like named Mark Tyler(I believe).  Punch-out 2 this game is not, but it's not completely horrible.  I like the training aspect to make your fighter stronger.  I is a difficult game, but once you get used to it and play it for a bit, it isn't that bad.

What about you....

Top Secret Episode: varied gameplay, a mature story with plot twists, and questionable material that somehow Nintendo did not block (sex and cigarettes to gain life, sniping headshots, etc.). It's a challenging game that draws you in like a movie.

Dude, Power Punch II is TERRIBLE.  It totally lacks in the gameplay category, way to hard to play at times.  My vote goes to Dragon Fighter.

A friend of mine actually paid money to rent Action 52 when it was originally released.  The store was renting it at, I believe, three times the normal cost because of what they had to pay to get it and he was totally pissed when he tried it out.

The Punisher was a great game!  I also was a big fan of Skate or Die and its big brother Ski or Die.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms!  We played that game forever.  Great with a large group of lazy gamers.

Top Gun. ALthough I never could beat that darn refueling section.

Definitely Destination Earthstar.  People don't even give it a chance.

Fellow nes players/collectors we all know that there is no pot of gold at the end of the LJN rainbow.
There is a pot at the end of the LJN rainbow but its filled with shitty grapics,bad controls and frustrating gameplay. >:(
Hmm ::) maybe ill pick 1 of the LJN games for a game spotlight.

Eh, a lot of people gripe about Zelda II, but I think it's flat out awesome.  There's a lot of so-called "good" games that aren't my thing.  I suppose an opposite for me would have to be Metal Gear.  I'll never understand why that game got so much praise when it was so awful.

i have this piece of cake "the krion conquest"... megaman wannabe game xD its so hard xD but i enjoy this game and my friends dont coz is a megaman wannabe the dificult.

the other game that i enjoy and most ppl dont is karate kid xD

Fun House

Not Krusty's Fun House... I'm talking about the Hi-Tech Expressions game. The game is horrible but for some reason I like it.

Ha... I liked this game, but Jason was pretty frightening to a little kid when he just popped out of nowhere!   ;D

Deja Vu i havent met  someone that actually likes the game but i think its great
