Title: I'm still having problems.

Okay, I got another PIN connector. This time from estarland, I switched it with that one, I saw the video more, but this time, there were these dashed vertical lines going through the screen. Dammit, I thought this was supposed to be a miracle worker, not a money waster. I cleaned the connector of the NES circuit board that the PIN connector is supposed to attach to with a rubbing alcohol swab before I put it on. Could that have something to do with it?

i thought you should use alcohol in drinks instead of nes games ;)

maybe the pin connectors are good but the carts are dirty :-?

I only tried two games, but the one cart had the exact same dashed vertical lines as the other cart I tried.

Is it accompanied by a buzzing noise?  It might be your AC adapter.

It's definitely not the AC adapter. And no, there's no buzzing noise.

Have you tried both of the video outputs.  RCA and RF ?
I have personally had a bad RF connector in the past.

Did you do any other changes to the NES (like cut the security pin)?

Al

I cut the lockout chip too, and the old connector played the games without those lines, and it's definitely not my RF cable either.
