I tried to see if there was already a thread about this, but I cant seem to get the search function to work. It always gives me no results even when I type in a phrase which is used.

Anyway is there anywhere that lists all the movies that feature people playing nes?

Off hand I can think of
The Wrestler (the new darren arronofsky movie)
The Wizard (obviously)

... Thats all I cant think of actually (unless you count the brief appearance by the nes advantage in ghostbusters II)

hmmmm...

"Troop BeverlyHills" features a scene with Craig T. Nelson and whoever plays his daughter playing NES. I think they might have been playing "Bases Loaded," but I haven't seen that movie in about fifteen years.

In "Camp Nowhere" an NES is featured as part of their setup to fake having computer camp, or something like that.

I just rememberd one. Well this isnt a movie, but a tv show.
I remember watching sesame street when I was a kid and it featured a segment with some black kid in new york and it showed his daily routine (or something like that). He had a nes and was playing the black box nes game Baseball.
I saw the segment around 1992 and it looked like it was old (like 86/87 at a guess)

If we're adding in television shows:

"The Tomorrow People", I believe, had an episode where two of the characters were playing some shooter game (I don't think it was shown).

One of them said, "Look at these graphics!"

Also, I don't remember if Doogie Houser M.D. ever actually played an NES on the show, but I do remember a scene where he used a story about the silver arrows in "The Legend of Zelda" to talk a kid into getting his shot.

I think I remember a couple of movies where I saw a kid playing either

baseball ( bases loaded ? )
