Hey, I doubt you'll be back to have a look, but the best I can recommend is the Smash Bros. score.  Super Smash Bros. Melee had an orchestrated score recorded and distributed to recipients of the American Nintendo Power magazine.  That at least had one or two tracks dedicated to a medley of songs from Metroid.  If you search it up on google and possibly Wikipedia, you might be able to find out more about that disc.  I think I have a copy of it floating around somewhere, myself.

If you just want a well-composed rewrite of the tracks from those games, though, you'd best check out http://www.OCRemix.org - there are a lot of orchestral-themed versions of classic video game songs on there.
