Recently bought it and not sure on how to use it? Can't seem to get any info about this item on the net. :'(

There's quite a bit of info on those online. It just backs up your SFC games, I think, so you'd need an SFC, power supply, a disk and a game to get started, I'd think. I've seen some sellers with different versions of that.

I'd like to know more about how it works. It just copies the game as soon as a disk is inserted? Or does it need activating somehow?

I never heard of the Gamars brand of back-up systems but I have owned the Super Magicom (SNES / SFC ) and the Super Magic Drive ( Gen/MD ). Now I currently own the Super Wild Card DX2 and the Double Pro Fighter 32M. These are great devices if you're into the homebrew scene. But if you're really risque - these are the best units for playing roms :)
