Title: Pitfall - How close to the original Atari game? Post by adaml on 01. May 2009 at 19:18
I just played through the Neverware homebrew of Pitfall for the NES and was impressed by it. Does anyone know how close it is to the Atari original in gameplay, level layout, etc?
This page ( http://never-obsolete.110mb.com/nesdev.html ) says it is a clone of the game, so I assume it is pretty much identical. |

Wow more NES projects to add to the homebrew section :-)

I actually have a rom of this. It wasn't done, was missing music and such, and I think a lot of the monsters and stuff were missing, but it was very well done, and I remember being excited for it to get done. It seemed to play just like the atari version.
