I watched the movie on the main page. Very cool.
I'm always very interested in the technical aspects like what mapper is being used, which tools were used in development, etc.. Have you got any more info on this project Martin? Thanks Al |

Hate to burst the bubble, but that isn't NES. Just one of those Mega Man 9 things where it's feigned to look like NES.

A few ways I am almost certain that this is the case involve colors: #1 - the fade out at the beginning has more greys than the NES has. $2D and $00 are almost the same color, and $2D isn't normally used due to not showing on some TVs. #2 - the sprites would probably work, but seem impractical from a color palette standpoint: -The character has green, white, and black for one, then the face for the other. -The enemies use 2 blues and black, white for eyes. White COULD be combined with the aforementioned face for palette #3. Palette #4 would have to be for something else... The one enemy shoots green fireballs, but we later see an animated RED fire on the ground. Plus the blinking arrows would likely be sprites. So anyway... that's some technical stuff I noticed. |
