Title: NES Controller Options
Post by NESnoob on 31. Dec 2009 at 20:11
Hey everyone.  I just recently pulled my NES out of the closet, and am starting to revive it lol  Got the new 72 pin connector, getting the little door (mine was broke), and so far thats it.  One thing I was wondering about though is the controllers.  I currently have a few, but they are all kind of old, and don't respond properly.  So my questions are:

1.  Has anyone ever tried third party controls?  Are they any Good?

2.  I was also seing that they sell repair kits for controllers.  Would that be a better option than the third party control?

I'm afraid trying to repair a controller might be an exercise in futility.  Just pick yourself up a couple of actual controllers or 3rd party controllers -- depending on what your local game shop has.

You can also still pick up actual NES controllers on ebay relatively cheap -- Just make sure the auction says that they've actually been tested and are working.

The only 3rd party controllers worth looking at are Beeshu Zippers. They are a very nice controller really.
