this may be a dumb question but how the heck do you put a replacement door on? I was restoring 2 nes's. The 2nd had a broken door and was yellowed. So i painted it silver (came out good) and painted the new door i bought silver as well. I went to go put it on now that the other 72 pin connector is here and... well, i cant. I dont see how you lock both pins in place. I can get one in on one side by lifting the clip, but the 2nd pin is no where near ready to go in the 2nd side.
what am i missing? how do you put a new door on your system? *EDIT* figured it out, you just take the black tab off the side and it fits. tehres 3 tiny screws |
