still one of my favorite games ever made.
i liked this game so well, i ended up trading for the arcade game of this. people think it cool when they see my mario arcade machine when they come by to visit.

This game is fun to playthrough. Lol. I mean, you can beat the game in no-time if you use the warp zones and you're skilled enough. Has anyone ever gotten through the second quest? I've only tried twice. While I'd like to, after I beat the game the first time, I'm just not as into it the second time.

i used to could go through smb , no warps ,with one life. i cant do it anymore.

i would play through it again also, with the buzzy beatle replacing the gumba.

ive never beat smb2 japan (lost levels in usa) tho

I can too. =) Using warpzones. Lol. I've only completed the game once or twice without using them.

Anybody can play that game with one life and win.

Just go to the first warp zone, with a fire flower. Then
the next warp zone, and finally the run down with world 8.
In the castle keep going until you find the right pipe,
avoid repeating the level over and over again.

Dodge the final Hammer brother, fry-guy, and finally the koopa.

1-1
1-2
4-1
4-2
8-1-8-4
Castle
Fin

How simple is that

I still can't win that game, LOL.
I can't get past World (I think) 6 or 7 without Warp Pipes.
