im guessing do to licenses and such, but why didnt nintendo try to put frogger on the nes? i know they are a version for some of the game boys, and the snes, but none for the nes. anyone else know the story on this?

I've never really cared, to be honest. Though it is interesting... It would've been very successful, I'm sure. Especially if they expanded on the Frogger formula.

Actually there is a Frogger for the NES, although not an official release and published only a few years back (homebrew), the quality of the game is excellent.
