I'm production manager in a French documentary production company called La Générale de Production.
We're now editing a documentary about the Geek Culture for the franco-german cultural channel ARTE (kind of an European PBS).
It's a 52' documentary about the "geek" culture since the seventies until today. It's the story of a triumph: how the "geek" became very popular in cultural and economical domains.
Our purpose is to show a very positive image of the geek culture.

In order to do that, we would like to use two old Nintendo commercials:

The problem is that we couldn't find them in a good quality (VHS rip at least)

Is anybody have them or know where I can find them?

I have lots to say but I will say this. The geek culture idea is a failure. You can't sell electronic ( digital ) media without a container, because it has no value in the form of data. It is like Reality televsion, it is the trash of the universe. Low cost flatscreens, wireless service, video phone service, and other services is the most stupidest thing to have. Keeping the price low just lures all the fools, who think of nothing else but living.

You can show how it is a failure, I mean look at 2001, and we have all of these crappy inovations,yet people are dying for no reason at all. Omgsh those religious people are against that religious people. Now there is prostitution, and people getting nose jobs.

We need to repel all inovations.

Also there is a website called videogame commercials, and they had every single one of those commercials in various
format types. I would even contact their author of the webpage back then.
