Title: Does anyone watch Chrontendo?
Post by tonyseven on 01. Jul 2012 at 17:11
I've been watching a lot of the Chrontendo episodes lately, and I find them to be very interesting and well made.  However, I can't figure out why the narrator says "Temco" instead of "Tecmo."  At first I thought I was hearing him wrong, but then I heard it again.  He definitely says TEM-CO.

At one point, he even said "Temco Bowl" and I was like, okay that's it.  I can't take this anymore.  Seriously??  TEM-CO Bowl??  Dyslexic much??

But how could a guy so knowledgable make such an obvious mistake?  This can't be right.  Maybe I missed something.  Is he saying "Temco" on purpose?  Was the original name of the company TEMCO, and then it got changed to TECMO?  Please shed some light...

Also, here's a dumb question.  Is Chrontendo hosted by The Gaming Historian aka Norman Caruso?  I honestly didn't notice right away...maybe after 3-4 episodes, and I was like "Wait a second...Dr. Sparkle sounds a lot like The Gaming Historian."

It's like the day when I realized that Mr. Pewterschmidt and Dr. Hartman (from Family Guy) were the same voice.

Anyway, I really like Chrontendo.  I guess you have to be a pretty big NES/Famicom nerd to watch it, but hey, I guess that's all of us on here!
