Hi all!
This is my first post, and I mainly created this account to ask for support. So let me get straight to the point.

Today I changed the LED of my NES to a seven-coloured flashing one. And it turned out awesome, you should really see it! (But since it is a very basic mod, I assume you all have seen it before :).)

However, since I reassembled it, the only output is a continuous white/gray screen. It does not matter if it has a game loaded or not, or at what angle it is inserted. I tried several, and I just get the same blank screen all the time.

Before this, it worked perfectly fine. No problems whatsoever.
I have disassembled some other NESes in the past, including this very one to disble the lockout chip. Neither was it the first time I changed an NES LED.

What could have gone wrong?

Alright, well I replaced the motherboard, leaving all the other components in place, and now it works fine again.

Must have been the contacts?

were they cleaned and did it solve the problem ....??
