NES- anything Mega Man
SNES- Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger
SFC- Seiken Densetsu 3 (SOM 2)
GBA-Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
DS- Etrian Odyssey series

Genesis- anything by Yuzo Koshiro, Shinobi 3

Games like Shatterhand, Shadow of the Ninja have some good tunes. :)
