Years ago, I played a (translated) famicom game on emulator.
I thought the game was named something like "The thousand year old story" or something like that, but I have had no luck on searching.

The gameplay is, what I can remember, exactly like that as in Dokapon kingdom for the Wii. I know that's a remake of a game for the super famicom, however, that's not the right game. The one I'm thinking of were for the original famicom.

So, anyone that can help me?

No, it's not a "traditional" RPG. The gameplay is like dokapon kingdom (look it up on youtube).
