I just found another one yesterday that I have never seen before (and I've looked for a very long time). I recall at one point someone else who was collecting these at the time mention that it didn't exist, but I'm here now to tell anyone listening that it does. That said, before anyone flames me for the price I paid Smiley, I'd like to mention that this is the first Alpha Mission I've ever seen with 5 screws:

I guess I'll update the original list.

Hey Dain
I went through my collection, and I have a few games that are the 3 screw version that you didn't have confirmed.  I have a Tiger Heli in 3 screw, and a Lunar Pool in 3 screw.  Also, on the list you posted, Karnov has a 5 only, and not a 3....but you typed that you have only seen it in 3 screw, not 5.  Was that a typo or what??  My Karnov is 3 screw.

Good catch -- the Karnov was meant to be listed as 3-screw only (not 5). I've personally never seen a 5-screw Karnov, but allegedly it exists (I'm not 100% sold until I see it).

Thanks for verifying Lunar Pool and Tiger-Heli. I'll update the original post.

Sorry to revive this old thread....but I can confirm that Volleyball did indeed come in a 3 screw version.

Actually, I had already confirmed that, but failed to post an update here.

There are still a small handful of games that I'm certain have 5 screw versions, but haven't been able to find yet.

I'll keep an eye out for a 5-screw Karnov...I tend to stumble across things when I'm not trying to find them Cheesy

Michiganfan2,

I've seen 3-screw Gyromites from CAN, and a few other countries, but not any with the -USA code. I've updated my original reply post with the newest lists.

the_wizard_666,

I still don't think Karnov exists with a 5 screw version -- I'd LOVE to see it! The release dates for that game make it highly unlikely that there is one. But, who knows!?

It may just be really hard to find...could be only the first run was actually released with 5-screws...I did see a convincing pic on a Google image search, but when I went to see if it was actually a 5-screw or just a trick angle it ended up being a broken link.  Oh well, I'll keep an eye out.

Oh, and chances are if it came out in Canada, it came out in the US...just a matter of time before a US 3-screw Gyromite turns up.

That may be true for games in general, but not for 3 vs 5 screw games.  Though I have seen a 3 screw version of Gyromite with a CAN code, I've yet to see one with a USA code. I think this is one of the handful of games that wasn't released in the US with a 3 screw version.
