Famicom Stadium Events

I got these in the mail today from Qixmaster.  FamicomJL says that one is a Stadium Events (blue one) and the other is a Athletic World (green one).  Does anyone have any more info on them.  How much are these babies worth for my curiosity?  I don't know pooh about Fami stuff.

Thanks FamicomJL for the previous info, very helpful.

I am keeping SE for sure, and am going to try and find a PAL SE so I have one of each.  I might sale Althletic World.  I was hoping someone else would post with some knowledge about them, maybe that means they are hella rare.

Interesting find, NGD. Never knew that SE was released for the famicom. Of course, I'm no famicom expert but I've never seen one of these up for sale anywhere.

I saw "Family Trainer 1: Athletic World" at a place where that I usually consider their stuff overpriced and it was $18.  I don't think the US got but family trianer 1, 2, and 3, but there were around 10 over there.

"Family Trainer 2: Running Stadium" is ....  yes, you guessed it!  Stadium events...

"Family Trainer 3: Aerobics Studio" is dance arobics, I think.

if I were making a guess, I'd say that neither were worth more than $10 over there.  I'm sure you could get more for Stadium events if you put Stadium Events in the title on ebay...  Smiley

I've heard the series called by the year as if they all came one year after another starting in '86 (ie Family Trainer '86 is Athletic World).  The only problem with that is that I don't think they came out one year after another.  I think that a bunch of them came out in '87 especially.

I guess the pad hit it off bigger over there...

$10 there, but here? Has to net atleast $100. Indeed, they're very common over in Japan, but the only reason why is that the Family Trainer Fitness Pad actually did REALLY WELL in Japan, while we were too damn lazy to use the thing. I just wish the Family Trainer carts would show up on eBay more. They'd be a good snag.

I know the famicom  4 player adaptor isn't compatable with the NES one.  How compatable are these famicom games with a NES pad?

I haven't been very successful with getting them to work. Undecided  I don't have a Famicom system, and the converter I have is sketchy at best.  I got the SE title screen to come up twice, then then it blinked away.  So I know the games work, I just need something better to test them on.

you don't have an "official" nes converter laying around or in a game?  That's still all I use and I love it...    Smiley
