Sep 2006 at 04:10 No, The Famicom Data Recorder was used to record games and sounds you made with the Famicom BASIC. It turns out the Data Recorder is harder to find than the Famicom BASIC keyboard itself...

Oct 2006 at 15:45 Yeah, and you could also use it to record data you made on the BASIC aswell. I think there's a full list of games out there that use the save/load option, but I don't remember the URL anymore.
