I don't recall you asking me to put that there, so remind me if you did.  I don't really care, but that's techincally part of a site I help with so you really can't use it.  I know I used it on the forum, but I wish you asked before making it part of the site for some unknown reason, it doesn't have anything to do with the Famicom so I really don't know why it's there.  I checked it out, but seriously man, it's way too buggy to be putting up yet.  Too many of the links don't work.  The game list could be something I could easily derive from any other site and when you click on games you have it linked to wikipedia and such.  You need to make it more professional.

Yeah, about that... I was gone for a while so I kind of need an explanation, too.  FJL was keeping track of how complete the site was & I think today he just went ahead & said 100%, whatever.  Huh

Probably wasn't a good idea, to do a site like this you need to make it look like something that is offering a unique information post on the Famicom, there's nothing there that's really offering anyone anything.

I was actually expecting it to be fully operational (no 404s) but that's not the way JL went with it. The good thing about publishing the site, even if prematurely, is that it's getting you all talking about it. Now JL and the staff (myself included as of this month) will be able to fix it up.

Just because we're talking about it doesn't mean it's a good thing.  The last thing you need being outside of Japan and trying to make a Famicom site is for it to start out fairly bland.  That site needs A TON of work.

What I meant about talking about it was not in a PR sense (we'll get people looking at the site, snowballing, etc.) but in a help sense (you all will point us in the right direction). Smiley

Hoooo' boy. Good to see a fight already a-brewin'. Roll Eyes

The image thing isn't from me. Jason (juggalones) did a "random images" thing, where a random strange/funny image pops up.

I'll just say what I said there:

Then why do we still have non-working pages?  I'm staring at the Glitches/Errors links.

Because I decided if we were to open up with everything, then people would come once, be like "Ok now I know everything bye..." and never show up again. Cheap marketing ploy on my part. Grin

And the "official list" is getting FULLY re-done. That was one of the sections I was hoping would be done (That was all Jason, that section.), but it looks like he ran off on us...

To those that were complaining about the 404's, they're there no more.

Juggalones is like Dennis Nedry  (Wayne Knight) on Jurassic Park; he ruins everything then leaves. Grin

Opening page is a lot better.  You really need to plug those game lists.  Using Wikipedia as the source and not really knowing anything about the majority of the titles doesn't look good.  That's the first thing I'd finish.

Yeah, but I think you should know that you need to get people who are familiar with the games on there, otherwise by the time you're finished with this no one will be paying attention to it anymore.  I'd be willing to give some input on any games I'm familiar with.  I know mostly about older titles.
