Well my Retrocon arrived this morning, I've been playing it all day - yet to find a game it won't play first time, and I've really been pleasantly surprised by it!  Smiley There is a slight reddening on some games, but it's very minor indeed, and it really is tiny!! I'm certainly glad I bought it!

The Retrocon is indeed small and works very well. There is a difference in color when compared to playing on a real nes.

The only game I got problems with is my Super Mario Bros 2 cart but I think thats a problem with the cart my normal NES also have troubles getting it to work.

What is your opinion about the game pads? Have to say they do there job verry well really like them Smiley

I LOVE the control pads - they're just a tiny bit unresponsive at times (the direction pad), but it's really really minor. In general, I think they are great! And the shoulder buttons are fantastic! - i thought 'I'll never use them', but I've found myself using them more and more! I can't believe how little it costs for how good it actually is! Yeah, I've noticed the slight colour difference, but it doesn't affect it much IMO. Haven't tried SMB2 on it yet, I'll have to give it a go!

Overall, I'm definately very happy I got it, just a shame they went for the standard sockets for the controllers instead of the NES ones, otherwise I'd be using the retrocon pads with my old NES!!  Smiley

Indeed too bad they did'nt use the normal NES sockets for it would be nice. It would also be cool if it had optional batterie input, that would make the device even more portable.

How many people on this forum do own a Retrocon besides us two?

Yeah, a battery option would have been great! Shame really, but I'm sure you can probably pick up a universal battery adapter for it - just another thing to carry though, kinda defeats the purpose! And yeah, are there many others who actually own one of these?
