Pictures of MY Homemade NES Shelf >>>>>tHOUGHts???
07. Aug 2006 at 23:07

Hey guys whats up, im in the middle of getting my own place and while i was moving i had a great idea to build a sweet shelf for all my NES games. because before i had them in my parents basement on these racks and they always got dusty. So anyways my old man helped me on this and i think we built something perfect. Anyones thoughts??? they are dust free right now and look very nice. i still need 105 games for a complete collection and i have two empty shelfs on the bottom ready for them lol. So this will hold a complete collection and looks great. Total cost was about $85.00 and we got everything from lowes. Ill keep ya guys posted when i get the full room done. its gonna be a sweet collection room. heres some pics of the shelf at the moment. Smiley Game on!

Nice shelf, I like the idea that you reserved the lower boards for your missing games   Cheesy

I had a similar idea, except I left mine unfinished to match the rest of my house.  They are up on a built in ledge that spans from window to window.  On either side of each window is more space where I'll be building shelves for the Genesis collection which is only 120 strong right now.  At this moment, I need 42 more NES games.

Great setup, if you get a chance would you be able to PM or post what you bought and used to make it?  Thanks.

Nice Job,

I have a similar set-up but on a smaller scale, here is an image.

...

Those are my unboxed games which only have a dust sleeve, my other games which are complete can be found in another unit also containing my hardware, other games and consoles.

...

...

...

My collection is expanding and eventually I'll have to build myself a similar shelf, but for the moment everything is well contained.

Chris.
