I only have about 300+ games and so far I haven't spent more than $9 for a game. I sure would hate to pay about $100 for a BBP2 but I might be forced too, unless I can find one in the wild.......hopefully.

I'm ok for now, since I still only have around 65 games, but that isn't too bad for the short time I've been collecting for the NES. Also, around two thirds of them are boxed and complete so I think I've done not too bad so far. My only aim at this stage is to get to the 100 game mark by the end of the year, then I'll reassess my aims and decide how much I want to spend from that point on.

RE: The modding mustangs. I'm sorry, but you can't possibly afford to invest over $100K in a car unless you are extremely well off! lol! Unless you have several loans to cover it! NOBODY has a spare £100K lying around unless they are 'rich' as such to spend in one go. Even if that investment was over a five year period, it's still nearly $2000 a month EVERY month that whole time! You could only 'budget' that amount of money as spare if you're earning a minimum of $5000 a month ($60k a year), that's well off in my book! lol. And if that aint well off in your book - well you must have even more than that!!! Any jobs going? I fancy a move to the states!  Cheesy

Thats what you would think but ... lol.  If you figure he started out with a $12000 Mustang. Modded it into a prize winning show car. ($10000) Did all work himself including polishing. Had it appraised around $30000. Then unfortunatley crashed it. SO this means insurance money, which he spent on a new Mustang. approx ($35000). Now he works full time making good money but not anything crazy. Now instead of buying a house and having a mortgage he has put alot of cash into this car. It wins almost every show it attends. Is he rich ? Not really. Is investing in a car a good idea ?? Who knows ?  But its his hobby and he enjoys it. Same thing with these NES games. If you enjoy it enough you spend the money.  Oh and my car is still a turd compared to most the cars out there racing but I only do it for fun.

I work my butt off to buy video games. Plus I still live at home so that helps lower my actual bill cost Smiley I rarely go in debt for a game but I think I did once or twice.

i'm not really a collector..but i do enjoy playing my old games.  i make alot of extra income while im in college selling NES/SNES/N64 games/accessories on ebay that i find at thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales, pawn shops, etc.  most of my money goes to my dj hobby Sad  if you want to see a hobby that truly sucks all your money away, pick that one Tongue
