I'm always looking for more, if anyone can help me find them for cheap.  Like .35 - .75 I figure in general.

I'm using them for publishing new NES games/demos/music (I can't afford the thousands of $$ to make new cart cases), so if anyone considers that an interesting cause, then any help is always appreciated.

Well, they would be cheaper but shipping eats up a lot of the cost.  I think it cost me like $23 to ship the 100 carts to cglabs.

I already have about 50 more of these and am more than likely getting another 100-150 next week.  I'm also getting 100 major league baseball carts if anyone has any interest in them.  If not, I'm thinking of giving them away for halloween.  Smiley

That is an awsome idea. But you are awsome for hooking me up with the SMB/DK carts Bryan.I got them last week but have been so buissy haven't really gone throught them but the top couple layers look to be in great shape  and all. Thanks man I got a little nervious when I hadn't gotten a reply from you about receiving my payment and here you had already shiped them out.Your the man.I don't want to step on other peoples feet but I really need these other 150,200 however many you can get so let me know what its gonna take to be the lucky buyer Bryan.I think I'm gonna use the one lable variant for the ceiling and the other for the side walls + I have now come up with another crazy idea to finish off another section of the Classic Gaming Laboratory's Vault.I bought the house with the attic already finished off,but theres this little Willy Wonka Like door built into the kneewall that looks like nothing but after you crawl back about 4 feet it opens up into a decent size room witch my 6'2" scrawny ass can almost stand up in.In the future I think I'm gonna finish off this section as well but with a differnt cart as wall paper posibly SMB 3 but  that might be a little more pricy.Any Ideas I'm probably looking at around 3 to 4 hundred copys to wall paper this section.

Let me know about these other SMB/DK carts man I got to have them.If you can get 200 I talk them all hell I'll take 3,4,all you can dig up captain.

I would totally be interested in those Major League Baseball carts.  Though the halloween idea is hilarious, heheh.  I can pay .80 each, + $25 for shipping.  I can offer a little bit more if you can wait until I start to make/sell some stuff for a 2nd payment.  Because it's actually better for me than SMB/DH, since I don't think they're glop-top boards.  Though is seems kinda odd to split up such a small payment, just a symptom of my low operating budget over here, I'm not really trying to low-ball, heheh.  Sound OK?  My email is memblers@gmail.com

You should ship carts as media mail, it's a much lower rate that NES carts qualify for.  When I got 75 carts a while back I think the postage was something like $8.50 that way (could depend on location though, check usps.com and write "media mail" on the box).  But if I pay $25 you could just keep whatever difference there is.

I will get back to everyone later this week when I find out exactly what I can get my hands on and how many and how much.  Thanks for your interest and I'll get in touch with everyone as soon as I have more info.

Also, CGlabs.  Most of those mario/duck hunts should have been in excellent shape.  I tried to sort throught them and eliminate the bad ones.  Glad to know your happy.  I'll be in touch.

Yeah Bryan I'm very pleased with there condition man.For future refrance it's not a big issue if theres any writing marker and what not on the plastic,I can get even paint off some of these carts i have refurbashed.Im only concerend with label rips tears and writing on the lables, but even with the lables i can say that the carts end title discription does not matter to me because It well be hidden for what I'm using them for mainly need a good clean lable on the carts front thats the visable part that well be seen when plastered to the walls. Thanks again Bryan.Don't kill yourself rushing around like crazy looking for them I'm not goin know where.I'll start getting a fund going for the next lot till I here from you.

CG_Labs, if you eventually do end up with more than a few carts with ripped front labels (from any other sources) I would gladly take those off your hands.  If it's no trouble for you, just sayin'.  I just tear 'em off and put a new one on anyways.

Hope to see some pics of your vault, sounds insane.  Does your room have windows?  If not maybe you could make some "windows" with SMB/DH/Trackmeet carts. heheh. Smiley  Though I guess a vault by definition wouldn't have windows.  Oh well, just rambling.

Man I just lost a hole typed page reply to you trying to get that pick for ya from my photo bucket. This is an old one from like 4 months ago after moving into my first home.It is a little further along now there are 4 small windows in the vault 2 are behind the 52" TV and the stand along side there both boarded up know with the stands sunk into the 45 degree angles of the ceiling 6" on bouth sides inorder to have an entertainment wall strait across the entire end of the room. The other windows I'm gonna leave cause I won't gain any space with one over looking the stairway up there and the other at the top of the stair landing. The carts will cover bouth end walls behind entertaiment wall and oposite end, along with ceiling center section of entire room and both 45 degree sides of ceiling for the entire room.Leaving only the 4 foot high knee wall on rooms left and right side to build shelfs for carts and displays.I'm presently lining the entire room with fat mat sound deading.theres a roll pictured on top the TV.$300 worth isn't gonna even take me to the half way point with the sound deadining so neadless to say I'm gonna have to brake to gather more $.

I will save any carts with to bad of lables for you for sure man.I wish you said something like 2 weeks prior as I had given 16 to a friend to use.Let me guess DEV casing right.I'll keep all i come across with this project aside for you If you want them man no probelem. If your into develpoment though would you be able to help me find a N64 DEV cart to go with an N64 Dev package I had boughtin 6 months ago so I can make another little dream of mine come true?

...

...

These are 2 8 foot long lites I scored for free from a friend, witch I plan on runing down the middle of the flat part of the ceiling after carts go up first. My wife can't understand why I need so much light up ther in the vault. My reply to her was ya need lots of lite cause I'm gonna be havin alot to show and tell girl .

Looks cool so far, I like the 4 ROBs too.  Kinda like gargoyles there, heheh.  Thanks for saving some carts for me, that's really appreciated.

Yep I'm gonna release some new stuff. Crazy stuff.  I just noticed the other day that NESWorld here has an article about my last release (and so far, only release). http://www.nesworld.com/r_garage.htm
I've got a re-release of that coming soon, then Garage Cart #2, my devkit (Squeedo), and more stuff.

With the N64 dev kit I can try to help.  I looked it up yesterday and there's just basic info about it.  It's an official kit, that's pretty nifty.  You should have:
N64 cart
PC card (I'm not sure if it's PCI or ISA)
cable from pc card to cart
Power adapter? (not sure if it uses one)
Looks like it has a SCSI connector (or something) on the PC card, maybe you need a SCSI host adapter in the PC connected to it?  Not sure.
And importantly, the software CD.

You got everything?  Looks like the black thing there is the cart, though I can't see the extra connector on it to tell.  But I imagine it won't be able to do anything without the PC software installed.  If the software needs some kind of license key you might be SOL though.

N64 has regional lockout chips too, like the NES.  So if you tried it already and it didn't work, that'd be something to consider.  Could be a devkit from Europe or anywhere.  If so the lockout would need to be swapped or maybe disabled (I haven't played around with N64 hardware at all before).

Alright, I'll put that down.  I'll start a pre-ordering thread soon, once I near production.

WoW Memblers I can see why your staus is at the God member level. Can i dust off your shoes for ya man.i refuse to let myself veer away from the developing end of the industry cause of the lack of computer electronic knowlege I somehow found myself surounded by a half a dozen or so development items and decided that if I have to I'll teach myself, just like i tought myself everthing else I really had interest in.Let me double check the N64 kit then but This is my problem or what I think i need to know to make It work.I'm under the asumption that I do not have a dev cart for this unit in the package the black box plugs onto An N64 unit then a dev cart plugs into that witch I need. Can It be any N64 Dev cart or should it say SN dev cart like the package for the kit reads SN 64 dev kit. Also I had The husband of my wifes best friend who builds computers and works on them for a living check out the PC card to intsall into my Dell and it doesn't match up with the board to plug in.He said he can build one tower to use for that alone relativly cheep around $400 So I'm hopin that will be all I need to get the ball rollin but still lost on the dev cart for this.

Memblers you have to be kiding me a garage cart you alraedy released and you have a second coming out.Which testical do you want me to cut off as payment to get my hands on some of that shit to lock away up in the vault.Mad respect Mr.The only other nes type garage cart I know about  getting released underground like that is GRANDTHEFTENDO witch really interests me as well.

By the way I must let you know of another vision of mine man,you mentioned  the R.O.B.'s Imagine the overwhelming felling I could create by setting up a still life of sorts. Like drawing class in college with 20 to 30 R.O.B.'s aranged similar to this picture

...

,but on a much bigger scale and looking like there all busting out of the kneewall ready to take over.I should be able to find them pretty cheep I need no parts for the robot and it wont even need any of them to be in operating status having to work at all.

Of corse 2 others one set up with all Gyromit parts and my gryromit cib next to It & another set up with all Stack-up parts next to My stack-up Cib.

Yep this thread has gone off topic a bit.  Oh well, heheh.

Ah, $400 is kinda nuts for an old PC.  Assuming it's an ISA card (and your PC only has PCI like most modern ones) you could practically dig any 486 PC out of the trash.  I'd even give you one, I have too many, heheh.  Unless the software requires Win9x or something, it'd be kinda slow then..

Judging from what's on this site, if it's the same I think you do have the full kit. http://shiggsy.gbadev.org/unit.php?unit=2
I don't think another cart plugs into that one, just a cable.  If the cable you have doesn't fit maybe they gave you the wrong one?
Here's a site that has pictures of standard SCSI connectors, see if you recognize of those on the back of the cart:
http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/scsi_connecters.html

I could be completely wrong, looking at the pic again I think I am too.  Does look like an N64 cart plugs in there.  Could have RAM and some kind of control circuit, so it'd be something custom by SN Systems that made the devkit.

If it does require a seperate cart, I don't think I'd be able to make one unless I had one myself to see what's required in there (and even, might be nearly impossible if anything is programmable/protected or custom).  And cost could approach something like a couple hundred bucks minimum.  If all else fails and you want to write N64 game, probably easier to get an N64 backup device with a parallel port interface (I dunno which to recommend, but I've heard some types are built kinda shittily).  Would be cheaper though, almost surely.

The 20-30 ROB thing, that's freaky, heheh.  My first NES came with a ROB, so it's always cool to see even one.  Put batteries in all of them and set them in front of a screen running Gyromite.  Using the move commands on them would be pretty surreal, heheh.
