interesting nes memory

some of you may not believe me when i say this, but i remember back when i was a kid, my friend had a copy of GUN SMOKE for the NES, but sometimes when he would reset his system, KUNG FU would load instead of GUN SMOKE.  It was quite weird...but very random, 90 percent of the the time GUN SMOKE would load, but the other 10 percent, you would get KUNG FU.  did this ever happen to anyone else?

Are you sure it wasn't a pirate (or a multi-cart)? I ask only because some of those carts are made with that very feature, where you must reset the game for the next game on the cart to load.

you never know, we were military kids...who knows where he got it from, but i distinctly remember it looking like any other NES cart...but i'm sure if they can fit multiple games on a cart, they could copy the plastic too.

Sounds like a pirate to me. I have one of these pirates, both for NES and SNES, where you have to press the reset button to load the next game.
