I'm assuming by this:

http://www.planetnintendo.com/thewarpzone/agci.html

that it exists perhaps in a small sample batch like the ones most game companies will ship to solicit to retail stores to increase orders. Worst case it only exists in final proto version. I'm guessing not since the label looks polished. Of course rolls of labels do exist for unreleased games...Dain at Nintendoage.com has it ranked at a 10, I'm sure he knows more.

Pictures are pretty.

There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea is asleep and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do.

There are 2 proto's of it as far as i know. They never hit the market though.
I think it was Buyatari and Potnoyd who own them.

Buyatari had his for sale sometime last year on one of the .10 listing days.  I think he had a BIN of 1400 bucks.  These are ungodly rare, like Nesaholic said, only 2 are known to exist.  If I had a job last year, I would have bought Buyatari's last year.

I thought only 2 existed. Never thought Player-2 aka Earlyworm (here on nesworld) had one. Might have to ask him though.

I remember BuyAtari's auction at 1400 dollars, but what is the "true" value for this game actually? I cant imagine why someone wants to pay that much for a variation, which it is, basicly.

Basically it is but then again it's more like a Stadium Events but only 2 (or 3) got made. It was made by a different company whose rights got bought out by AVE. I think that is correct....

Hm.. ye, thats true, but its even the same title on this game Smiley I dont think SE would have been that valuable if it only had a different logo (i.e Konami instead of Bandai) on it, or? I think its more like the Indiana Jones case. Wasnt that game released by 2 different companies?

Yeah it was....Tengen and Ubi Soft.

Btw, I just picked up a Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade PAL-A Italian version. Anyone know if this is rare or not. Looks like Dain thought it was released only in France and Spain.

I've seen it on ebay.it once (loose). I assume it was the PAL-A version. This game isnt easy to find even PAL-A or B.
