What are these "4-Player Play Cards"?

I have wondered this for a while.  What are these 4-Player Play Cards that were included with copies of Play Action Football?  What are they for, and how many of them were included with the game when you bought it?  I have 6 of them right now, and I have NO FRIGGIN CLUE what they are for.  Any help appreciated.  Thanks.

My guess is they have something to do with the 4-play.

Nick I have a few of those also. I am not sure what they are read tthe manual to football maybe it will say something in there about them.
