Nice find. I always get embarrassed walking into goodwill.  Undecided
Last time I went in one looking for NES games there was an old guy playing with one of those wind up fairies that spins and plays music, he was walking around humming to the little song and it creeped me out.  Shocked

I haven't ever found anything good at Goodwill....except for some sweet shirts every once in a while and two Dead Milkmen CDs.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm surrounded by at least 5 used game stores (independently owned), so I have to go to thrift stores just about every day to ever get anything.

yeah...alot of people think its just for poor people, when in actuallity it is mostly wealthy people or people who ebay stuff.  you see bmws, hummers, porsches, etc in the parking lot most of the time.

in fact, the other two homeless guys came in asking for shoes and the lady told them no...i was like, are you crappity smacking serious...isn't this supposed to help needy people?  they get everything they sell for free...and its not like those places keep inventory.

Dude, that's just fscking despicable.

Oh, and a hint of where to find goodwill stuff if you don't have a decently stocked goodwill nearby (or one nearby period, like me):
http://www.shopgoodwill.com
Online auctions, the only sellers are Goodwill stores, and most of the time the people puting up the auctions have no idea what the stuff is worth. Good place to find the unique stuff at a decent price.

Last time I checked out shopgoodwill.com their auction prices were very high, usually higher than fair market value actually.  Plus the selection isn't that great.  It's good seeing somebody trying to compete with eBay but in this case I'll just stick with satan.

I can usually find good stuff there, but all the Goodwills around here do 'silient auctions' of anything they think is good, so video games usually end up in there. Here's what I have found in Goodwill:

Miracle Piano (the piano) - $15
SNES w/hookups- $5
Dreamcast w/hookups- $5
NES w/hookups- $5
Genesis w/hookups- $5
Final Fantasy NES - $2
Tombs and Treasures NES - $2
Mega Man 6 NES - $4

And I am ALWAYS finding hookups for cheap.  I have tons of AC adapters and AV hookups for all kinds of systems, mostly NES and SNES.  I also found a cool NES joystick that I'm gonna use for my Playchoice project...

Keep looking, you never know!

I got my Saturn at the Goodwill by my house too.  $10 Canadian for the system, a standard controller, a Nights controller (the 3D one you got), all hookups, and 3 games: Daytona USA CIB, Street Fighter Alpha CIB, and Valora Valley Golf disc only.  Pretty good score I think...now if only I could find something worth playing besides Shanghai III Tongue

Yesterday i got quite some nice stuff from him for cheap, so yeah they snatch what they can.
