Who's going to watch this? Grin

I saw the trailer & it looks awesome - looks like they're taking 007 into a new direction.  For those of you who don't know Casino Royale is the beginning.

What do you all think?  A more serious James Bond?  I always thought Ian Fleming's Bond was meant to be that way, like with Timothy Dalton's two movies.

This is the only movie that I've been excited to see in the past year aside from the remake of HHGTG and X3. Yes, I'm a francise follower Smiley So sue me

There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea is asleep and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do.

Just gonna vent a bit.  I don't want it to be all political so ignore me if you wish. But I don't see myself as going out and seeing it, maybe renting, definitly not owning.  Someone who is so anti-gun is already playing the hypacrite game and making buko bucks of of them. Screw it if you can't put your paycheck where your mouth is.

EA probably will make some more crappy games, but not in the Bond franchise, atleast not anytime soon, as they do not have the license anymore (Activision has the license to milk at the moment, something which they don't seem to be doing very much of at the moment)

Anyway, I'm totally set for this new Bond movie.
Daniel Craig (Bond), is a really great actor, just like danish Mads Mikkelsen (Le Chiffre) is, and with director Martin Campbell (Goldeneye) doing this reboot, I think there is truly hope for a solid piece of bad-ass awesome action adventure in cinemas this November Grin

Exactly. Timothy Dalton was the only Bond actor (so far) to have read Flemming's novels and model his acting based on that description of the character. That being said, "Sean Connory IS James Bond", and Pierce Brosnan was a great playboy/boyish-charm Bond. But Dalton had the presence, the suave-ness you would expect of a refined, trained, British agent.

Oorah for Activision! Smiley

I liked GoldenEye the most of the 4 latest Bond films - so I'm glad Martin Campbell directed it.

By the way, I was looking through the movies at my local library, when I found this.  Recently, though, I discovered it was a comedy/spoof.  I might see it after the real thing. Grin

Sometime, I've got to see all the movies in chronological order.  I don't think I've ever seen License To Kill or Majesty's Secret Service.
