CNBC is running a very cool show, the history of video games. It is on tonight and re run in a couple of nights. Here is a link to Joystiq which had a small article about it and times to tape it. Something I will definitely put onto DVD!

I thought it was ok, but loved how they failed to mention anything about Tengen and the whole Tetris fiasco. Seems like that would be a pretty big one to mention for gaming "history". Ah well, it was still pretty decent.

I didn't really like it.  They rushed A LOT of things.  They completely skipped over the Master System, barely even talked about the SNES, and completely failed to mention the N64.  I thought the first half of the documentary was very well done, but everything from 1985 and on was rushed.

Also as Dain already stated they definitely should have talked about the Nintendo/Tengen lawsuits and the NES lockout chip.

Your right they should have mentioned alot more things. But you gotta realize there is so much to cover, You could make a whole series about it (hey that would be a good idea  Wink) There was only so much time for it. I would watch  a series about it.
