More info about Death Race;
http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=6053

I guess it's the NTSC ACGI version from the pic? Doesn't say HES, does it?

http://www.neswarpzone.com/agci.html

info about American Game Carts, Inc.

They released three games commercially. The one you have is the toughest of the three to find but not impossible. $10 is fine I guess.

There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea is asleep and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do.

I think it's a good deal, they seem to be selling for more than that on eBay, excluding shipping, and finding it in Europe is even harder, too.  Funny thing is that I also picked up the same game in Belgium a couple weeks ago (factory sealed while at it).  Could be that the game was exported to Europe in larger quantities, but I'm betting it's just a coincidence.

The HES version is near impossible to find. It was only (afaik) avalible if you sent in 4 HES dongles to HES. The game was later added to MAXI 15 so i doubt it was sold seperatly, unless they cleaned out the stock.

lol funny, i also got my copy from Belgium too. It even had the seal around the box, but it was opened and the manual was missing. Everything is mint tho. Alot of "unknown" imports in Europe was going on. Like i've bought several of Sachen games in Norway and recently i saw a guy who had a Sachen game with a norwegian manual (only a piece of paper tho). As you already know, France had Color Dreams import, so did Sweden, Spain and possibly Germany too. Anymore imports then?

I agree, lots of imports here.  Italy also got quite a few imports, I even got a copy of Death Race from there as well about a year ago.
