PAL SMB Differences
12. Dec 2006 at 01:11

I just received a PAL 3 in 1 & tried it on my (universal) toaster NES.  I was trying out Super Mario Bros. & tried to do the Minus World glitch, but couldn't get through the brick to the wall.

Was this fixed in the PAL version of SMB? Or on the 3 in 1 cartridge or something?  The game was playing faster; so I thought it might just be harder because of this.

The minus world glitch is there in the PAL UK release of SMB 1 at least, tried it a couple of days ago.

Was the SMB/DH/Trk released in PAL format?  Otherwise, it's the one with Tetris & World Cup.

I'll see when I get home. Undecided

Edit:

Here's the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=016&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT...

Assuming it's the same one as in the pic; the tile looks like the one in my kitchen.  Funny how the seller put NTSC.

I got it to work; apparently you have to duck. Huh In the U.S. release you could go through the block when you hit it right, without ducking.
