NES reproduction carts, fun or woth it?
17. Jan 2007 at 00:45

Just picked up some games for the NES, stated released only in Japan, but pretty much mean REPO carts.  Games are:

Earthbound Zero
Final Fantasy II
Final Fantasy III
Sweet Home
Zelda Outlands

I bought them on Ebay, probably paid a little too much for them, but the carts looked in good cond with great labels... I guess my main questions would be A) are any of them fun? and B) Is there any value in them or pretty much worth caca...

If you want to see pics, just do a completed item search on Ebay, bought them today..

Thanks again

Sweet Home, and Earthbound are great games. The others are pretty good too. Looks like you paid about the going rate for these.  These most likely will not increase in value over the years.

Reproductions are definitely fun and worth $25 each IMO.  I'd like to increase my reproduction collection sometime.  You definitely got some of the better reproductions.  I'd like to get the exact games you got, plus Adventure Island 4, Sunman, Moon Crystal, SMB2j, and California Raisins.  Currently I only have EarthBound and SMB2j.

You can also check out http://www.gamereproductions.com as well if you don't have a donor cart. The price there is also very good at $27.50 which I think includes shipping.
