classic serie

I don't now how many people now this, but at the end of the nes period and the upcoming of the snes period nintendo released the classic serie.

(later there where classic series for gameboy and snes also)

8 nes games got the classic serie label on cart and box(boxes changed too)

these games where: mario bros, ice hockey, soccer, tennis, pinball, super mario bros 3and zelda 1 and 2.

the where only released in Germany,Holland and France

I think the are quit rare and want to now more about them en collect them all.

zela 1 and 2 came with classic label on cart and grey box

NOW THE QUESTION: How rare are they? AND wat are the worth?(cib and cart only)And do you see them on ebay?

I found another side quest for my collection! Smiley

Most of them aren't that hard to to find on ebay.  SMB3 and Pinball sale very often on ebay ranging in price from 10-25 bucks CIB.  I really haven't looked for all of them that much yet, but I run across those 2 pretty often.

Isn't that where the Metroid with the yellow lable came from?  I think there was a Final Fantasy like that too.  I could be wrong though.

There were US Classic Series Games and then PAL Classic Series games.  The US had Metriod, Punchout!, Blades of Steel, Zelda, Zelda II and maybe a few more, but that is all the ones I can think of spur of the moment.

Pal had the ones mentioned above in this thread.  Most of them for PAL and the US aren't that much more rare than the regular version, but finding them CIB is sometimes more difficult.  I do think finding the PAL ones is a bit more difficult, but they are very doable to collect and won't cost you to much $$$.

The PAL Zelda Classic Serie games are very hard to find...I've seen no more than 5 of each in the past 1-2 years.  Could be that I'm looking at the wrong places, but I'd say that those two are definitely far more rare than the US or non-classic series version.  Other than those, tho, the rest are definitely easier to find.

I found them both 15 Euro each. Check out the pic, the both Zelda's have a red classic label, they are French/Dutch. FRA

Mario Bros has a blue label, German, NOE.

Is there a difference in the classic label as well? Or is it occasional?

Mario Bros Classic Series is  actually alittle different from the first Mario Bros game. Its basicly the same game tho, but the controllers are improved. What i've read the gfx is also improved and you get to see some introduction screen with the enemies or something.

Is this the same games as Kaettekita Mario Bros (The Return of Mario Bros) btw?

Classic Series Mario and Return of Mario are pretty much the same. In Return of Mario there's an intro screen showing Mario and Luigi in a Japanese setting. I imagine that would be different from the Classic Series Mario.
