Power Set Box w/pad & game
22. Feb 2007 at 01:46

Found myself a Power Set box with the Power Pad included, boxed. Both boxes in excellent condition. Plus the game and manual, manual for the system and warranty, and the Playing with Power poster, a Bo Jackson baseball poster, Castlevania II manual, two N64 instructions and cards.

Since I have 2 Action Sets, I took the styro from one to make my Power Set complete!

And the best part is it was only $3.73 at the thrift store.

How many different sets were there? Now I have the Power Set, Action Set, Challenge Set, and Control Deck, all boxed with styro, plus my Top Loader CIB.

I went out and checked. There is the Deluxe Set with ROB, and the Sports Set with the satellite. SO I still got a couple to go if I want them all. Which I am not really going to try. This is just like the rest, if I come across it and it is a great deal, I get it.

There are lots of different sets if you get variants.  I know michiganfan has like 10 different ones.  I am guessing there is at least 15-20 in the US alone, plus the PAL ones as well.  I only have 1 Cry

Not gonna go for variations any more than I do for anything else. Even getting the other 2 is not a big deal, I don't care if I do or not. Actually, I did not even know there was a Sports Set. If I get lucky like this and find them great, if not, no matter.

I added some close up pics with all my sets on my site.  If you are interested, take a look.

That's a Wal-Mart exclusive Challenge Set.  Came with Mario 3 and Dr. Mario.  That's a tough set to find, not impossible though.  One just sold on eGay a couple days ago BIN for $40ish.

Wow! Gary. I wouldn't pass those sets up. Even if you didn't want them you could always ebay em and use the money for games you want. Heck buy them and I'll buy them off you.
