SNES Problems
24. Feb 2007 at 23:53

Well, someone just gave me a SNES for free and I went out and bought a couple games, but for some reason it's only playing them in black and white.  Anyone have any ideas?

I have the version with the RF out and the Multi-out.  I've tried both of these and they both play black and white, so I'm guessing it's not either of those.

It plays all the games black and white, so I know it's not the game.

I'm guessing it is some internal problem, but I wanted to check with you guys if you have any tips or suggestions.  Looks like the system is locked down with security screws, so I can't open it up.

Ive had that problem too.  Try flipping the channel on the tv up 1 and then back to the normal channel.  Its not very technical but it has worked for me.   sometimes the sound will be missing too.
