You should connect him like a usual nes. You can use a RF_Switch or an chinch wire.
To get games into You have to remove the screws.
They should be 4 screws on the right and 4 on the left side. From behind the 5 outer screws also.
When You remove the screws You're able to slid the grey cover a few cm.s backwards - so know Your M82 is ready to be loaded 

I don't know which 12 games I would put in but a copy of Tetris should be in - thats for sure. But thats my opinion. Everybody has a diffrent liking.

What I'am telling You a post before is bullshit

I got 2 M82s - one is unused the other one is out of order. I opend it a time ago and put it ready to be repaired without the grey cover back in the box. So didn't change the games ever.
The faceplate with the window is fixed with 4 screws - 2left and 2 right. This should be enough.

Got all the 12 slot working AND some interresting information about the m82

- the m82 does not work unless you fill a complete row
-the m82 CAN"'T PLAY ALL GAMES!!
thats a shock he! the m82 has problems with the late releases! at least that mine conclusion,our it has problems with big games smb3 was scrambeld below and turtles 2 was in pixel land
and other games work perfect in the slot and the games played good on a normal nes!

that action 52 almost made it in the m82,NO just kidding
what a crap some demos at nesdev are way better,ho bought this game when it came out for$200

6 zelda 2 love this game,not a black scheep in the serie for me

7 turtles> the game that everybody loves and hates at the same time! played this on a m82 back in the  day

8 maniac mansion> replaces turtles 2>1 of the games that i wich i played it as a kid

9  rescue the embassy mission> played this also as on the m82 reset it many times for the intro  GREAT

10 probotector/contra rembered that i played this with my dad,bought it later,great game

11 Simpsons bart vs> played this als for the first time on the m82

12 megaman 3> in mine opion the best nr of the series
