Revitalized NES collector here!
05. Apr 2007 at 00:22

hello all.  It has been awhile since I have actually collected or played NES games.  In fact, I had begun selling the majority of my collection on eBay about 6 months ago.  Well, now I have a better job, a little bit more time, and a revitalized interest in collecting NES stuff.  Today I sold God of War 2 for PS2 and used the trade value to buy 27 NES games (including Legend of Zelda, Tengen Tetris, and SNKs Baseball Stars).  This weekend I intend to go out of town and do some good old fashioned NES game hunting.  NES World seems like a greater resource for this than ever.  Any help, tips, advice, luck anyone can offer me?

Hello and welcome back.  First off God Of War is a sweet game, must have been hard to get rid of, but you did good getting 27 games with those few good titles.

If you need any help just ask away, you are sure to gt an answer here.

Thanks man;  It was a bit tough parting with GOW, but I think it was the right decision.  Anyhow, do you know of any resources for obtaining boxes and manuals inexpensively?

Well, it depends on what you're looking for.  I'm friends with the local independent game store owners, so I can probably get some carts if I don't have 'em.  PM me a list of what you'd like and I'll take it from there.
