Does factory sealed copy of S. Mario Bros exist?
15. Apr 2007 at 20:47

Undecided

I'm new to collecting and I recently heard the the original Super Mario Bros wasn't sealed when it first came out. And it was also packed in with many NES consoles, so does it mean no authentic Super Mario Bros games exist? I would really like to know because I just bought Super Mario Bros 2 & 3 sealed off ebay and I'd like to complete the set. Thanks alot.  Smiley

Actually SEVERAL copies of this game exist. For some reason, I really like the box to this game.

I have 2 of them factory sealed and one mario arcade classic series. mario 1 is not common, but its not THAT rare sealed. i managed to get really lucky on one of my two on ebay a while back. depending on your offer, I might part with one of them. would prefer a trade, though. PM me.

Ah yes, I remember you from the GameFAQs board.  Glad to see you took the referral Smiley

I just want to say I didn't say it didn't EXIST sealed, just that the original releases were sealed with just a little round "Nintendo" sticker.  Later runs did appear in shrink wrap.  Sorry for the confusion.  Anyway, I told you that you'd find more info here than on GameFAQs.  Welcome to NESWorld Smiley

Be careful, this is not sealed. Seller does somewhat present it as sealed, but does describe the contents in the description.
