Price Check: Factory Sealed Games
15. Apr 2007 at 20:56

I'm new to game collecting and I'm thinking about getting these ridiculously high price games off ebay. But first off, I'd like to think what the pros (you guys) think they are actually worth.

Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros 2 - $150
Super Mario Bros 3 - $225
Kirbys Adventure - $25

I can't find any copies of Super Mario Bros factory sealed on ebay yet. But any idea how much it would be worth. And the prices I listed are the cheapest on ebay for each game.

I am not into sealed stuff, but there is no way I would pay those kind of prices for those games.  I just saw a sealed SMB3 a few days ago for 75 bucks.  You just have to keep a watchful eye and be patient.

Patience can be a real virtue sometimes when collecting common sealed stuff. A SMB1 can sell upwards of around $200 or less.....or more. Depending on who's bidding and how bad they want it. Kirby's Adventures is one of the most common factory sealed games and you can usually find them on ebay for under $20.

Those cheap kirby's are canadian. the US ones go for a bit more. Thats way too much for mario 3. here is a decent guideline.

mario 1 is the hardest to price. anywhere from $150 to $225. generally closer to $150 but since there has not been many up recently, expect to pay $200 or so

mario 2 is fairly common and if you wait, you can get it for about $100

mario 3 is very common and if you wait, you can get it for about $80 or so

now, if you want mario arcade classic series, expect to pay quite a bit. $650+
