No; if you look closely, he has the rare first release of SMB3 + 2 with the revisions. Tongue

Wow, I looked at this auction earlier, and thought to myself "what's the big deal about SMB3?"

Nice find with the Flintstones, the game could have kicked me right in the face through the computer screen and I still didn't see it. Grin

Enlighten me: What's so special about these Super Mario Brothers 3 carts? And how can you tell they're special just by looking at the picture?

They are jokingly congratulating him over the second game in the pictures ( Flintstones 2, Surprise at Dinosaur Peak).   Basically the 2nd rarest released NTSC licensed title, (rarest if you dont consider Stadium events to be a released game).

As for the SMB 3.  If the "Bros" is left aligned so that the B is under the M in Mario, it is the earlier version and more difficult to find, but not really much more valuable than the more common version.
The "Bros" right aligned version is the -1 version (the product code has -1 at the end)  The left aligned does not.

That's really cool. I never knew that. Is there any difference gameplay-wise with the two versions?

This site lists the differences between the regular and -1 versions of SMB 3.  They seem to be just text related changes.
