any interest in a music cartridge?

I need to put something out.. I've got so many unfinished projects, I'm sure that seeing something to completion again would be really encouraging.
Out of everything, the "low hanging fruit" would be my NSF player and all my tons of music. Here's how the beta version looks:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=vC5JqM2kEKk
I've got so many songs I can't even fit them on one cartridge (with the design I have now, I already have a bunch of boards), so it would span a couple cartridges and maybe a 3rd and 4th one, if I eventually want to get all of it out.
I'm working full-time now, so I'm no longer freaking out about money constantly. But I am freaking out about my lack of available time. So I want to be sure if I dust off my soldering iron and start buying components, if I'm making a reasonable use of my efforts. I know Garage Cart #2 would be more popular, but I'd hate to not finish this..

I'd be interested. I already have Vegavox and Color Caves.
How many different "albums" would you be selling?

I think it sounds great. A whole lot better than vegavox and games IMO

At least 2 of them, then 3 or 4 (depending on if and how well my other songs would pack up). If I released my cover songs then it'd be like 5 or 6 altogether! But I probably won't sell my cover songs, because of licensing issues.
But yeah these would be 256kB carts, likely 100+ songs per volume. Already I have to cut stuff out because my first Chipography NSF is over 512kB. That's massive compared to Vegavox, though the music quality is as subjective as always.
Yeah, I wrote a lot of little NES tunes..

What board were you planning on using? (Squeedo, another custom one, or donor carts).
I remember you had been designing a dev cart so I was wondering if this would be based on that.
I'm really surprised at how quiet this thread is. From my experiences at shows and on other boards, theres huge interest in this type of thing.

Well a lot of people seem to have abandoned this board unfortunately... Hopefully things will pick up again soon.

I'd be using my UNROM board since I have a bunch of those, but with the logic reversed so $8000-$BFFF is fixed and $C000-$FFFF is paged (so I can use all my DPCM samples).
Well I noticed today there were 8 more votes than last time I checked, so either some people noticed or some dialup user is spiking the vote, heheh.

Ah, looks like those extra votes came from it being linked from the front page. Thanks, Martin.

Thanks, I put a lot of work into that program. Grab the ROM:
http://rapidshare.com/files/51476207/SNES_NSF_Player__Membler_Industries_.zip.ht...
Actually the display code for that was originally for NES ("visplay" and the Capcom music player), I ported it to SNES and enhanced it a ton, then more recently changed it back to 8-bit again for my music compilation. Weird development path.
