I see you stole my map list NGD Smiley.

Dunno how detailed you are looking to get but that list should be all the maps.  Note that there are two maps/charts for some games like Final Fantasy, DW IV etc.  There is also a mail in map for DW II in addition to the map that came with the game.  After that there are other random items like the forementioned monopoly board, the letter from mike tyson, the bulletin board from Maniac Mansion.  From there you can keep digging for inserts like 3D glasses to the troll that came with Trolls on Treasure Island.  This list goes on and on, but I promiss you....there is actually an end to it.

Note, if you are a completest here is an easy reference tool.  If you have a random poster or item, Look in the bottom right hand corner.  There should be a code like CAP-AU-NES something along those lines.  If the poster is a generic insert, it will have a generic code.  If it has a specific code, the code will match the code on the inner flaps of the game box that it goes with.

Hope some of this rambling helps.

Metroid has a very nice fold out map in a issue of Nintendo Power, I don't think I would waste the time an effort to make another one Wink  In fact lots of other games have fold out maps in Nintendo Power.

yeah I saw that one it looked great <fart noise>  Grin naw the one I could make would look really slick. And very easy to read with a lot more detail to items etc.. in the game I may do this for some other games as well such as Zelda.

Damn dude, given Faria's value and the fact that the map must be far more scarce, what does that go for when one pops up?

Hmm, value on a faria map would be a tough one to gauge.  Last CIB w/ map brought $120ish....I think the CIB has been in the $50 range if listed properly and in good shape so that would put the map at around $70.

Mostly it would all boil down to how many people wanted it and how badly they wanted to end their search.  I could see a map only on ebay bring $20 or break $100 and anywhere in between.

Another thing to note on the faria map.  My CIB w/ map all came from the original owner soooo.....my manual is missing the back cover as that is what you had to mail in for the map.  I've never really decided if I like it that way or if I will someday break down and buy a manual that isn't missing the back cover.
