Hey everyone! This is my first post here, as I found out about it today while looking through the Google Analytics Report for GameGavel.com

I am the owner of GameGavel.com, and I want to thank the original poster for mentioning my site! I know I have a tough up hill battle against the machine that is eBay, but I think that their policy changes and such have left a sour taste in many gamers mouths!

Let me take a minute to explain a few things about GameGavel.com!

1. All of your listings are FREE. No insertion fees, no final value fees! The only thing we charge for, which is very modest, is the featured items on the front page, highlighting, bolding, and category featured items. Other than that, its FREE!

2. We allow you to link your auctions to the DP Rarity Guide, to help inform your potential buyers about everything and anything they may need to know!

3. We have multiple feedback references for you to list, including DP, eBay, Shumps, Goozex, Cheap Ass Gamer, 2D Gaming, PCEngineFX, and any others that are brought to my attention!

4. Of the smaller auciton sites, we were the FIRST to offer a Bulk Lister for those sellers with a lot to sell! Its free and easy to use, and you can import your stuff from the eBay Turbo lister too!

5. I am a collector, and a video gamer as well. I didn't start GameGavel to get rich. I started it simply to help out those Gamers that were tired of eBay. My goal is to break even to keep the site running smooth for everyone!

6. We have amazing contests! Remember #5? I am commited to making GameGavel a FUN and EXCITING place. That being said, I run contests like no other site! The first month online we gave away a FREE BOXED NES to one person! All they needed to do to qualify was to sell 5 items on GameGavel! This month we gave away a FREE NEW GAME to one lucky seller verified person! And we have a running $500 contest going to one lucky verified seller when the site reaches 1000 verified sellers! That being said, there are some really cool updates at GameGavel.com that were implemented this weekend!

1. More Categories! There were a lot of "one hit wonders" back in the 80's so there were a lot of Game Consoles available. Now, they are represented well at GameGavel.com!

2. Want to know if people are watching your auctions? Well, now you can! Check out the Selling Section of your Members Area and you can see exactly how many people are watching.

3. Add your Live! Gamer Tag, PSN User Name, and Wii Codes to your profile! They don't show anywhere quite yet, but in the coming days they will be a standard part of your profile!

4. Designer Listings are Now Available! Dress up your auctions for potential buyers! Everyone likes a fancy listing, now you can have one FREE!

I must sincerely apologize, for the lack of keeping everyone updated regarding GameGavel.com over the past 2 weeks. I have been playing globetrotter going between Italy, and the UK for work.

There was new and important change to GameGavel's Verification Process for selling items. We are going to change it up a bit, and remove the restriction to verify your account before selling. For the most part, this won’t affect many of sellers, and your account will continue to show that you are verified. This helps potential customers know that you indeed not a “bum” seller and have gone through the small process in ensuring we know you are legitimate at GameGavel!

This change mostly affects the buyers out there and their decision to purchase from a particular seller and if the verified account matters or no. So, if you have been on the fence when it comes to selling or listing some items, now you can absolutely free! Just make sure you link your other feedback to ensure people know they are dealing with good people
