Pirate games list
01. Jun 2008 at 03:04

I've always had a big interest in pirate nes games, so I decided to put together a list with all the pics I had saved. I just started on this so it still needs alot of work. It's in excel format and compressed with winrar, the columns are as follows:
A - Cart front
B - Cart back
C - Cart top
D - Box front
E - Box back
F - Box side
G - Box top
H - Game name
I - Publisher
J - ID #
K - Game list link

Any feedback or help would be appreciated.

hey

i downloaded it and i must say: great job Wink
(downloading took some time there Grin)

1 comment :i would not consider gluk and sachen as pirates, because the made some games there selves.

2nd comment :the pirate list is great but, there are so many out there, not to speak about variations that the list would be endless and you would have to keep updating it Grin

great job Wink

I agree, list looks good, nice job (I especially like the game lists)!  I would also either remove the Sachen, Gluk Video games + Micro Genius 3in1 + maybe some of the Brazilian ones as they should be considered unlicensed rather than pirates (or you could title the list as "Unlicensed games list" and then include the other unlicensed games).

Another tip, if you're reading the game lists off the stickers, these are not always accurate...so technically to make the list completely accurate you'd have to get them directly from the software...which I realize is pretty much impossible for all those pirates out there unless you own a ton of bootlegs.

Looks like a good start for sure.  There are literally and endless number of these but this is a great start to trying to hammer out a definitive list of the most frequent ones.  I also agree about taking Sachen, Gluk and Micro Gen out of the list.

Micro Genius made an endless number of pirates of licensed games. Don't exclude it altogether.
