Game I can not find anywhere!
26. Oct 2008 at 09:05

Hey people,

I was looking for a game I played when I was a kid.
We had this SUPER 200-IN-1 cassette which contained some pretty cool games, but some of the names just weren't right.
Examples are "KUNG FU" in the menu was actually YIE-AR KUNG FU
There were 2 Macross' in the menu, and 1 actually was macross, the other one was Mario 1 with Mario2(j) graphics.
And there was a game called "Pony Cat" which I can't find anywhere!!

The game was like this.
When you start a game, a little cat runs off and as the mother cat you have to find her.
While looking for the kitten on the street, you had to make sure you didn't fall in a pit, don't get run-over by a car and certainly don't get cought by a dog!

I know it was an arcade game in japan but I just can not find it!

Platform?... top down view? I'd say Adventures of Chatran or whatever it was called, but it's an FDS game Smiley

Found it!!

I checked the SUPER 700-IN-1 rom, since it had the same menu style as the 200-in-1 I played and found a game in the menu by the name of CAT TOWN which turns out the be the game I played (known as "PONY CAT" on the SUPER 200-in-1 cartridge).

After googling [ "cat town" famicom ] ( without the [] symbols , but with cat town in the "" symbols), I ended up on this page:
http://www.gamersgraveyard.com/repository/nes/nesgames.html

And after reading up on that page, I read that the original title was Onyanko Town, and that searchstring gave me this result on google:
http://www.wshin.com/games/review/a/onyanko_town.htm

ow yeah.....and this one:
http://www.nintendo8.com/game/64/onyanko_town/

ENJOY!

I noticed the game has a mapper 0 and the same header as Super Mario Brothers 1, so I think I can manage to put this game on a real cartridge Smiley

This is gonna be cool.

this emulator is weird but if you go to CPU you will see Game Genie check that or press CTRL+G  then load your rom and input codes like a real game genie
